the passion

I can't find words to describe my passion for art.
The world would be such a bland place without it. Every step, every glance, and every movement in life involves the arts in some form. That only shows how many individuals enjoy having it be a close part in their life. Whether you hold a paintbrush or a tattoo pen, you have a talent to cherish.
I am most definitely one of those people. I've never wanted anything more that to be an artist since I first picked up a pencil. Well, we'll see where my degree takes me. (: One thing I know is that until the day I die, I will cherish all forms of art.
Loved spending my time sketching my beautiful BFF Wen. Click here to see our adventures through her eyes. (:

The new proj.

I also was lucky enough to be inspired by the work of John Burton, a famed artist of Carmel. If you'd like to see how excruciatingly talented he is, click here. His studio was just a five minute drive from the house, and we were close enough to the ocean to still feel refreshing sea breezes. The little shops surrounding his studio were filled of other art, high-end fashion shoe stores, and lavish restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated my time learning from the best of the best.

I've been seriously debating doing a little side business with this. I mean, if I'm going to be spending every free second sketching for school... Might as well illuminate others' lives at the same time, right? There is now a new Instagram page strictly of artwork. If you'd like some enlightening pictures on your feed, I promise there won't be anything but my art and it will only continue to improve!
